Martin Krause
Software architect, engineer, consultant, and author based in Frankfurt, Germany — working at the intersection of practical engineering and emerging technology.
I have been building for the web professionally since 2003. Today I work as a headless Solution Architect at Kering and as an independent AI consultant, translating complex AI and GenAI capabilities into scalable, product-focused solutions.
Before that I was part of the EMEA Front-End Leadership circle at BORN, an Engineering Manager at Publicis Sapient, a Senior Front-End Architect at Razorfish, and a contracted CTO. Across those roles I have architected and delivered front-end and full-stack solutions, led and mentored teams across time zones, and advised C-level stakeholders on both the client and agency side.
My work centers on TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js, modern front-end architecture, and the current cutting-edge stack on AWS — with a keen eye for design, high quality standards, handcrafted CSS, thoroughly tested code, and mentoring.
As an author, I wrote The Complete Developer(No Starch Press) and Claude Beyond the Prompt(Packt, forthcoming), and I write regularly for golem.de, one of Germany's leading IT publications. You can find that work under Writing.
